043/365: Similar Taste In Music.

Danbo now has company when it’s time to share musical preferences.

I spoke to soon on that “pre-visualize AND pre-pose” thingie that I mentioned here.

I was so busy with animation work yesterday that I wasn’t able to come up with one!

Even later in the evening, I still have nothing in mind for today’s set up. I went to bed with nothing.

Well, this morning I was planning on just forgetting it and go to work right away. I was just about to do that, but the tug of Danbo was too strong and the habit of doing everything in the morning was too much so I pulled out some red bed sheets and just thought about continuing establishing the character and personality of the Twins.

The hardest part of setting up this scene was making the earphones stick to the Danbos’ head. I was using masking tape and folding them to make them double-sided so the headphones will adhere, but my fingers was probably too oily making the adhesive on the tape lose their sticking ability. I had to resort to stronger, “industrial strength” velcro double sided tape. That took time too as taking off the backing from the tiny strips that I cut out was hard, especially after I just cut my finger nails short the other day.

All the hard work was worth it as I have a scene that I wanted to create.

So much for that “pre-visualize AND pre-pose” plan of attack, but who knows? It’s quite a handy plan and I will still try to use it, only I will try not to be too hard on myself anytime I fail to come up with something.
