Airdrie-based Animator who got bit by the Photography Bug.
I am an animator by profession and started dabbling in photography sometime in 2007. My very first serious camera was a Nikon D40 to which I learned how to take pictures in Manual mode. I then moved to a Nikon D300 and shot mostly indoors in totally high ISO settings as I am a fan of ambient light.
My photography evolution eventually led me to the compact, DSLR-like qualities of a Panasonic Lumix GF1 and I love it as I can take it anywhere with me, allowing me to take even more better pictures.
However, I eventually moved back to a DSLR body and purchased a Nikon D7000, which was my current gear right for a couple of years before once again moving to something compact and now using a Sony Alpha A6000.
I am a great fan of Photography and I now consider it as my very serious hobby. It is like therapy for me and an artistic outlet as well.
Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoy viewing the images that I want to share!
